Seasonal Products

At Rouken Glen we have a selection of products to help the gardener protect their plants over the Winter.

Bubble wrap is ideal for insulating the greenhouse or wrapping around containers and plant pots if they are to be left outside. Polypropylene spun fleece will help protect semi hardy plants from the severe frosts and chilling winds when wrapped over the foliage. Remember to lift pots and containers off the ground to prevent the frost penetrating the undersides and damaging the roots.

For the greenhouse or unheated conservatory/porch a small energy efficient frost protection heater may also be required if we experience severe freezing temperatures as we have in previous years.
