Schools

Rouken Glen is very much a family orientated firm and we want to encourage the next generation of gardeners. We think our centres are a great place to bring the family and inspire those budding youngsters. We wish to support local schools in developing their gardens and welcome school visits to our Garden Centres. Now we would like to get even more involved with the schools in the areas around our centres.
Are you thinking of setting up a school garden or do you already have one?
Are you involved in the Royal Horticultural Society Campaign for school gardening?
Did you know we already offer schools a 10% discount on the majority of items we sell (excluding charity goods, delivery charges, food and drink and gift tokens) providing all invoices are paid within 30 days.
If you are building a new garden or working on a particular gardening project please feel free to contact us for advice.
If you would like to organise a visit for some of your pupils and teachers we have staff who are happy to show groups around. We're also happy to incorporate a particular topic in the tour if asked in advance.
